I'm sorry to hear about your wife's health situation and the loss of employment. I hope the times aren't too difficult and you persevere to do the best with the hand that life has dealt you. After all, the only thing we can control in life is our attitude.

I'm actually in a somewhat similar situation, my partner has completely unexpectedly become disabled, unable to work and as a result I've started working part time to help around the house. While the loss in mobility (for her), the period of mourning (of our former life) and loss of income have changed our lifestyle, we're still incredibly fortunate. We're still healthy otherwise, enjoy things at home we'd normally never have time for, walks, local market, immersing ourselves in literature etc.

I wish you all the best and if you write, great! If you don't, don't worry! Take care brother.
